Winners, Sponsors and Previous Years
About the PRSA-LVVC Pinnacle Awards:
Created in 1996, the Pinnacle Awards recognize the best public relations programs, tools and professionals in southern Nevada, northern Arizona and southern Utah. The Pinnacle Awards are judged by out-of-market, accredited members of PRSA and are open to chapter members and nonmembers alike.
The Pinnacle Awards Categories:
The Public Relations Programs classification includes 12 sub-categories. These entries are judged as complete public relations campaigns.
Tools and Techniques entries recognize excellent work that may have served as part of an overall public relations campaign. There are 20 Tools and Techniques sub-categories.
All entries that win Pinnacle Awards in the Public Relations Programs and the Tools and Techniques categories are automatically considered for the Best of Show award.
Outstanding entries receive a Pinnacle Award obelisk. Other noteworthy entries receive a certificate - either an Award of Excellence or an Award of Merit.
The Individual Awards honor outstanding public relations professionals, both Newcomer of the Year and PR Practitioner of the year. On occasion, and when appropriate, the Roger Buehrer Lifetime Achievement Award is also given to a senior practitioner who exemplifies PRSA’s professional ideals and has contributed greatly to the practice of public relations in our community.
